SUMMARY:Fresh Start Wash and Wellness Showers
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that the Fresh Start WASH and Wellness Shower & Hygiene service is coming to the Orlando Public Library! 🧼 This service provides free mobile showers and bathroom facilities for those experiencing homelessness. The mobile hygiene unit includes four-bathroom stalls\, with one bathroom equipped with an ADA-compliant lift and a slightly larger space. Each guest is given a bath towel to use and return\, and a hygiene kit to keep. \nWhere: Orlando Public Library on Wall St. (the mobile unit will be park behind the library) \nWhen:  The 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month\, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through June 18 \nTo access the shower services\, guests will be asked for some demographic data and to follow a few rules of mutual respect. Enjoy free coffee\, breakfast\, and celebrate our group’s walking accomplishments! \nPlease park at the Medical Office Entrance and take elevators down to the Garden Level in the Gleason Room: the first room on the left after getting off the elevators. \nWe’ll hear from speaker APRN Ross Pantalla about vascular disease prevention\, treatment\, and rehab. After\, we’ll head out to the Wellness Walking Path to get our steps in together. \nNo need to pre-register\, just bring your smile and sneakers! \nThis program is open to all ages and mobility levels.
