DESCRIPTION:Join us Friday\, October 24 and Saturday\, October 25 – 6:30-9:00pm for what could be West Orange county’s only nighttime Jack-O-Lantern hike.  \nBring your flash lights and lanterns ’cause its dark in them there woods. \nWant to dress in costume? Go right ahead! This is a family friendly event so please dress and act accordingly. \nOur Sponsors will have trick-or-treat stations and we will have some cool critters out. \nCalling All Jack-O-Lantern Enthusiasts \nWe want to display your talent! Make them fun\, make them scary\, the choice is yours! \nWant to paint your pumpkin? Great! We will add your creation to the Painted Pumpkin Patch!  \nPlease let us know you want to bring a Jack-o-lantern or painted pumpkin by completing a free registration. \nNew this year – join us the evening of October 23 to carve pumpkins on the porch and greet our Ambassador Salamander Dart! \nParking: Parking is along the driveway\, in the lot outside of the gate.  Also use Family Christian School parking lot. \nAdmission: Admission to the ONP Pumpkin Glow is donation based\, all proceeds will benefit the Oakland Nature Preserves mission:  \nTo promote an understanding of the fragile balance between mankind and the environment by educating visitors about Lake Apopka basin’s ecosystems and cultural history\, and by restoring and conserving the lands within the Preserve.
