National Women’s Health Week
National Women’s Health Week is May 12-18, 2019 and we’re reaching out to all you ladies in west Orange! Are you as healthy as you want to be? Your health journey is your own, but take a moment this week to be proactive and a champion for your health. And you never know, by taking care of yourself you just might become a healthy hero for your friends or family, inspiring them to take some time for self-care as well.
Your first step? If you haven’t already, get your well-woman exam or annual physical. There’s no time like the present, and a full check-up keeps you in the driver’s seat and in control of your health journey.
Get Moving, Eat Healthier, and Be Well!
If you want to be your best self, you’ve got to move! Make a plan to be physically active, it’s a great first step towards your healthiest you. And you don’t have to struggle in a gym or run a marathon to feel fierce, there are plenty of benefits that come from simple physical activity like walking or gardening.
Fitness is just one piece of your healthy puzzle. Consider your nutrition and general well-being practices. Need some ideas to get on track? Here are some simple changes you can make to your eating plan today to benefit your health. And how about taking some you time and giving mindfulness a try?
