The City of Ocoee Human Relations Diversity Board will host a presentation titled “From Service to Community: Reflecting, Acting, Learning” on Thursday, September 4 at 6:15 p.m. at City Hall, 1 North Bluford Avenue. This free event is open to the public. 

Attendees will hear about experiences of service, sacrifice, and resilience directly from a veteran. Following the presentation, an interactive workshop hosted by Kavita Sawh of the University of Central Florida’s Ginsburg Center for Inclusion and Community Engagement will be held, focusing on strategies for building stronger communities.
