The Eighth Note Collective (Shawn Villanueva, Ed Krout, Jose Figueroa, Gerald Law, Caila Carter, and Derrick Harris) will entertain with lively jazz classics and originals in celebration of International Jazz Day.  Join the City of Apopka and HAPCO Music Foundation for this free concert.

The Apopka Amphitheater has 1360 seats with additional lawn space. Bring blankets and chairs if you prefer to sit on the lawn. Vendors will be on site for food and drink purchases. Local artisans market. Picnic baskets and coolers are permitted.

HAPCO Music Foundation helps disadvantaged young people use their musical, culinary and artistic talents to build better futures. The non-profit organization has education and performance programs in Florida, Texas, and Georgia. Students use their musical, culinary, and artistic talents to fund their college education or to pursue professional careers.

Sterling Stevenson will emcee the evening’s fun. Sterling has been FAMU’s, The Voice of Bragg since 2018, the voice heard at Bragg Stadium games. He hosts “The Top 10 Countdown” on Soul95.com and was a previous host on Orlando’s Star 94.5 FM.
