Here at Healthy West Orange, you can complete our 5K, your way, all month long! Healthy Selfie 5K Your Way has both a virtual and in-person option.

Virtual 5K Option:

Here’s how a virtual 5K works: register first, then complete 3.1 miles at your own pace, wherever you like, whenever you like from September 1-30. Bike the West Orange Trail, hike at Oakland Nature Preserve, rollerblade around your neighborhood, it all counts. If you want to break it up into smaller segments, go for it!

No need to submit your miles – we go by the honor system and are just here to encourage you to get moving. We always love when folks send in their finish line photos when they complete their 5K virtually! In-Person 5K Option:

Want to complete your 3.1 miles in-person with an awesome group? Join us on September 13 at am at Orange Technical College – West Campus to walk, run, or bike a 5K on the West Orange Trail as a community. All ages, strollers, and even pups are welcome!

In-Person 5K T-shirts and Medals:

Our 5K T-shirt distribution will be first come, first served when registering. When registering, please select your preferred T-shirt size. The size choices on the page when registering are the sizes available that are remaining. Registering earlier means a better chance of getting your preferred size! Once the quantities are out, they are out. Participants who have registered for their T-shirt size we receive them at Check-In on race day. If you DO NOT want a T-shirt, please select “None” when registering to leave more for those who want them. Medals are now reserved for in-person 5K participants only. Medals will be distributed to participants at the Finish Line on 5K day!

Virtual 5K Pickup Information:

Thursday, October 2 from 4pm to 7:00pm at the Healthy West Orange Building at 1200 E Plant Street, Winter Garden.

In-Person 5K Announcement

Please park in the areas labeled on the map below. The ONLY parking lot entrance will be the one via Ocoee Apopka Road.

Event check-in and T-shirt pickup starts at 7:30am at the Healthy West Orange tents. If you get there earlier, please be patient with our team as we will be setting up.

We had such a great response, that all T-shirts have now been claimed. Folks are still welcome to register now and participate, and we will have T-shirts from previous years to give to those who weren’t able to claim a green 2025 T-shirt. Please note: if you do not pick up your shirt, we do not mail shirts and medals.

To make sure everyone gets signed in, we’ll begin warm-ups around 8:15am.

The race will kick off around 8:30am!

Please see the race route map below. We will have Police Officers assisting with street crossings along the West Orange Trail. Please follow their directions to stay safe!
