Something to be Thankful For
Counting Your Blessings
During this season of giving thanks, it is only fitting that we take a moment to be thankful for what we have and what we hold near and dear to our hearts. Life, family, friends, jobs, homes, and much more could be on this list.
For November’s “Attitude of Gratitude” we hope to cultivate and encourage a mindset (attitude) of thankfulness (gratitude) for all we have.
Being grateful has many benefits to our health as well, such as opening doors to more relationships, improving physical health, improving mental health, enhancing empathy and reducing aggression, improved self-esteem, and even getting a better night’s sleep, according to Psychology Today.
This entire month, we’ll be focusing on mindfulness and mental health, on top of all the fun, fitness, and nutrition tips and advice that you’ve come to expect from Healthy West Orange. Download the graphic above, and list out what you are thankful for each day. It could be something as simple as a cup of coffee, a good hair day, or a flower in your garden. Post it on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter and tag @healthywestorange, and we will share the positivity with our community!
