Something to be Thankful For
During this season of giving thanks, it is only fitting that we take a moment to be thankful for what we have and what we hold near and dear to our hearts. Life, family, friends, jobs, homes, and much more could be on this list.
For November’s “Attitude of Gratitude” we hope to cultivate and encourage a mindset (attitude) of thankfulness (gratitude) for all we have.
Being grateful has many benefits to our health as well, such as opening doors to more relationships, improving physical health, improving mental health, enhancing empathy and reducing aggression, improved self-esteem, and even getting a better night’s sleep, according to Psychology Today.
This entire month, we’ll be focusing on mindfulness and mental health, on top of all the fun, fitness, and nutrition tips and advice that you’ve come to expect from Healthy West Orange. So, take time to notice the little things that go unnoticed in our lives and give thanks for what we have.
