Healthy Selfie Day 2017 Was a Huge Success!

We celebrated National Healthy Selfie Day on Friday, Sept. 15th, 2017 here in West Orange County as a way to engage with the Healthy West Orange community, and it was amazing! Smiling is an important part of being healthy and spreading joy to others. Taking a moment everyday to think about something that makes you happy or throwing a quick smile someone’s way is a great way to spread positivity, and the world could certainly use more of that!

We gave away prizes!

You sent your healthy selfies to us for a chance to win one of two All-YMCA annual membership for the whole family. Congratulations to Cynthia Zalewski Miller and Dr. William Fravel for winning! Make goals, share your progress and wins, and tell us stories as you put those memberships to work!

Westly was out and about in West Orange and some of you were nice enough to have a little fun with him. I’m betting we will see more news from Westly in the near future. He likes to have a little too much fun sometimes!

Winter Garden and Windermere both officiated proclamations designated September 15th as Annual West Orange Healthy Selfie Day! Expect for next year to be even bigger and better!
