Fall Recipes for Fun
The fall seems to always be associated with pumpkins and a little cooler weather; not to mention the lower humidity. Also, the fall represents food and family. During the holiday season there is plenty of time to sample cuisine that comes with family meals and parties. Sometimes it’s ethnic or a new recipe just waiting for approval. At the 2018 Health and Harvest event at the Winter Garden Farmers Market, Healthy West Orange rolled out some fall recipes that were demonstrated and prepared by Dr. Jacque Nyenhuis, Assistant Professor of Culinary Nutrition at UCF. We thought it would be nice to pass those along in case you missed the event.
Since November’s HWO theme is “Attitude of Gratitude”, let’s share some healthy recipes with each other and enjoy the experience together.
