This month, we continue our series on highlighting vendors located at the Winter Garden Farmer’s Market. Roughly 130 vendors can be found at the market offering local products with friendly faces. This week we are highlighting Kurtis Baguley of Pane D’Or.
Kurtis Baguley has been a pastry chef for over 30 years and in 2014, decided to leave his corporate position as Executive Pastry Chef at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando because he couldn’t seem to make enough bread to satisfy his appetite for this incredible craft. In developing Pane D’Or, Kurtis says “it’s really about the opportunity it has given me to make the best bread I can and continue to learn through the process daily.”
No Bun Intended…
Pane D’Or opened in Groveland in January 2014 and during the first year and a half, sold at farmers markets throughout Central Florida as well as wholesale accounts. They moved their bakery to their current brick and mortar shop in Winter Garden in January 2016. Pane D’Or then joined the Winter Garden Farmers Market which is now the ONLY farmers market where you can find their great product. Kurtis considers the Winter Garden Farmers Market home!
The bakery and retail shop is just blocks from the Farmers Market and has expanded with so many sweet offerings and pastries in addition to all the delicious savory breads. Pane D’Or is located at 1201 Winter Garden Vineland Rd. just south of Colonial.
